Alice Beth Lusk Lemmon 1934-2013

Alice Beth Lusk Lemmon, our beautiful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother returned to our Heavenly Father on January 18, 2013. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.

Alice was born on July 29, 1934 to Lester John and Alice Jones Lusk in Malad, Idaho. She loved growing up in Malad and had happy memories of her childhood. She graduated from Malad High School in 1952, where she was involved in school activities including band, worked at the movie theater, and made many good friends.

On June 8, 1957, Alice married Richard H. Lemmon of Westin, Idaho. They made their first home in Logan, Utah where she worked as a secretary while Richard attended Utah State University. When he graduated, they moved to Hunter, Utah, and started their family. A few years later, the family moved to Bountiful, Utah, where they have resided ever since.

She enjoyed listening to music, reading, walking, and watching old movies. She played the piano beautifully, and loved to crochet gifts for family and friends. Alice was gracious, friendly, and welcoming. She was happiest when hosting family gatherings and making wonderful meals. Everyone who spent time with her, loved her, and loved being in her home.

Alice was an angel. She was completely devoted to the happiness and care of her children. She especially loved spending time with her family, sharing wonderful memories of their childhoods, vacations, and holidays. She was a loving grandma spending endless hours reading and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, John (Cindy), Les (Sherril), Patrick (Laurie), Brenda, Julie (Chad), and 12 grandchildren. We would like to give special thanks to all the family and friends who cared for Alice during the last two years of her life.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit with family Wed. from 6-8 pm and Thurs. 9:45 a€" 10:45 am prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
