Alice I. Brown Rinehart
ROY - On Wednesday, January 26, 2011, we lost our Mom, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma and friend.
Alice Idella Brown was born on January 2, 1930 in Ellensburg, Washington to Clarence M. and Lillian C. Nelson Brown. She was the second of three daughters.
On January 11, 1947, she married Marvin D. Cox. Alice and Marvin adopted their daughter, Pamela and son, Michael. They later divorced.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Alice married William S. Rinehart on May 21, 1964, becoming an Air Force wife and step-mother. William preceded her in death on February 24, 2008.
She was born with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She was so much fun and full of life. She loved to be with her family, friends and especially her sisters.
Alice was a wonderful cook and loved to have company and entertain. She was loved by everyone who knew her.
She was very talented and enjoyed making beautiful porcelain dolls and baking goodies. Alice and Bill had several old classic cars and loved to go to car shows. They won over 200 trophies. She drove her favorite, a ''56 Chevy convertible.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Ray) Bisoni, son, Michael D. Cox, step-daughters, Virginia Boyer, Julia (Brad) Cornwell, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Shirley Gannon, Juanita (Harley) Ottmar, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31st at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
The family will meet friends from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
