Allan Steven Hill

Allan Steven Hill Allan Stevens Hill, age 76, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Farmington, Utah. Born and raised in New York City, he married Karlene Ruddy on June 22, 1957 in Billings, Montana. They lived in Huntsville, Alabama; Kent, Washington; and Farmington, Utah throughout their life together, raising four sons. Allan graduated from the Stevens Institute of Technology and the University of Washington with engineering degrees, and worked for Boeing (aerospace division) his entire career playing key roles in the development of the Saturn V rocket and numerous satellites. Allan was an avid reader, and enjoyed classical music, stamp and coin collecting. He is survived by his wife, Karlene, and sons Vincent C. Hill, Lawrence A. Hill (wife DeAnn), and David F. Hill (wife Melissa). He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence LeRoy Hill, his mother, Dorothy Isabel Prall and a son, Brian S. Hill.
