Fulfilling his life having reunited his family, providing fond memories for his grandchildren, and finding peace for himself, Allan A. Loo passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007.
The son of Martha Nakanelua and Edward Loo, he was born July 21, 1939 in Waipio, Hawaii. This valley of kings was always a special and sacred place to our father and one where he helped us build lasting memories, respect, and understanding of our heritage and culture.
He is one of 16 children, having nine brothers and six sisters. As with all members of the Loo ohana, the value of family and hard work were core to his life. His family has and continues to provide the kind of love and support that would make our grandparents proud.
His character and legacy of love for family, hard work, and selfless service will continue in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Theirs is a responsibility to carry forward this legacy in service to others and love of family, taking advantage of every opportunity to be the very best, and remembering who they are in the choices of life they make.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1st at 11 a.m. at the Roy 26th Ward Chapel, 3649 West 4800 South.
Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
