Allen C. Paterakis

Allen C. Paterakis, 89, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011 at his home. He was born March 6, 1922 in Buffalo, WY, to Mike and Edna Heaton Paterakis.

Allen married Dorothy Young on June 10, 1944 and they were the parents of five children. He was employed in the trucking industry for many years.

After retirement he enjoyed music, playing golf, and traveling south for the winters.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy, son Monty (Debbie) Paterakis, Hotsprings, MT; daughters: Sherry (Bob) Miller, Butte, MT; Mona (Dave) Maynard, Syracuse; Karen (Mike) Allred, Ogden; Debbie (Curtis) Hartey, Syracuse; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Martha and Frances, and brothers Bill and Victor.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary.
