Alta Marie Fehlman

Alta Marie Fehlman, age 79 passed away on August 11, 2016 at Apple Village Assisted Living in Layton, Utah.  She was born September 22, 1936, at her grandmother’s home in Nebraska.  She was the daughter of Marion Dewey and Ola May Metten Chard.

Alta married Arlen Larve Fehlman on December 13, 1952 in Nyssa Oregon at the Old Oregon Trail School House.  Alta was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on December 15, 1952.  She and Arlen were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 17, 1962.  She served an LDS service mission in 2008.

Alta worked for Ore Ida Food Products, Fernwood Candy Company (kids loved this job).  She retired from Clover Club Foods.  Alta enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and quilting.  She was also a Skip-Bo maniac.

Alta is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arlen, brothers:  Billy and Wayne Kressly and her sister Donna Butler.  She is survived by her children  Judy Siebrandt Round Rock, TX, Jeri Lloyd North Salt Lake, UT, Douglas Felhman Layton, UT, Rodney Fehlman Apache Junction AZ., Her sisters Marie LaVeen Ontario, OR, Bonnie LaDew Eugene, OR, , Corky Musick Coarsegold, CA.; Her 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Monday August 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the North Oaks Ward, 2680 East Cherry Lane, Layton, Utah
