Althea Ranson

LAYTON – Althea Florine Ranson, 80, passed away March 31, 2018.

She was born September 2, 1937 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of John Harold and Julia Berezina Johnson Boyce.

Althea married Gerald “Jerry” Glen Ranson on February 4, 1954 in Ogden, Utah.

Surviving are her husband Jerry, sons, Joseph (Jeannine), Salt Lake City; Brian (Cheryl), Ogden; Tracy (Katrina), Tooele; Brent, WA; Kelly, Layton; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents and six sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
