Alvin A. Friedle passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013.

He was born March 17, 1924 in Midland, Michigan to Arthur and Mabel T. Friedle.

Friedle served in the United States Air Force from 1942 to 1964.

He is survived by his wife, Irmgard, whom he met while stationed in Germany. They were married for 63 years.

Friedle is also survived by his children, Coletta, Doris, Martin, Barbara, and Steve; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rita and son-in-law, Michael Werle, his parents, two brothers, Albert and Ronald and two sisters, Shirley and Lois.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 12th at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven.

The family will meet with friends to honor him on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., with a vigil and rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Interment, Fort Logan Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
