Amanda J. Haven OGDEN – Amanda Jane Leavitt Haven died Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Murray, Utah. She was born January 28, 1920 in Hibbard, Idaho, to Israel Vernon and Ines Mary Morris Leavitt. Mandy married Lloyd William Haven on May 23, 1947. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on June 21, 1988. They had one son. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mandy worked for the Union Pacific Laundry, Storeys Pickle Factory, and Montgomery Ward. Surviving are her husband Lloyd of Ogden; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Joyce Gailey, Ogden; and Renee Stoddard, Ashton, Idaho. Mandy was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Brett William Haven, two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Rock Cliff 5th Ward Chapel, 300 Iowa Avenue (one-half block east on 3rd Street above Harrison). Family will greet friends at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the Ward Chapel from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Email condolences to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com
