Amanda Nicole McLeod, 42, passed away in North Ogden on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born on June 20, 1980 in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of Alfred and Kay Hammack McLeod. She grew up in Warner Robins and Macon, Georgia and graduated from Windsor Academy.
After moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado she met and married Bryan Harrison. They were married on June 26, 2021 and they moved to North Ogden, Utah.
Amanda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked as a technical writer for Northrop Grumman. She enjoyed crafting and designing cups and shirts. Amanda was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan, along with a fan of the Utah Jazz, Utah Utes, and the Atlanta Falcons. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially her grandchildren.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Bryan McLeod; son, Jared McLeod; daughters, Kasaundra McLeod and Alissa Madrigal-Kotewa; her precious grandchildren, Logan Patterson, Bentley Musa and MJ McLeod; her mom, Angela McAfee; brothers, Mike and Rick McLeod; and sisters, Crystal McLeod and Leah Manzanares. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred; and grandparents, Earl and Mary McAfee
Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 2 p.m. At the North Ogden 2nd Ward, 770 East 2100 North, North Ogden, UT 84414. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
