Amanda B Shaw

Amanda B. Shaw LAYTON – Amanda B. Shaw, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007. She was born January 26, 1922 in Hyrum the daughter of James W. and Maude M. Jensen Buck. Amanda married Harlan G. Shaw on June 12, 1946 in Salt Lake City. Amanda served in the Navy during World War II. She was a member of the LDS Church. She loved knitting and enjoyed cooking. Surviving are her husband Harlan G. Shaw, two sons Richard Scott Shaw, Joseph Harlan Shaw, Layton; daughter Carolyn Jean Sutton, IN; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six siblings, Gayle Jordan, Lucile Jensen, Carol Ropmh, J. Wendel Buck, LaEta Buck and Bertha Ann Buck. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
