Amber Marie Wilcock Loock

Amber Marie Wilcock Loock, 38, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016. She fought a courageous battle with CVS for several years and now she has returned back home with God, and family members that have preceded her in death.

She was born March 21, 1978 in Ogden, Utah to Ima Lee Wilcock and Rebecca Jane Kirk. She lived in Layton for 22 years and in Roy for 16 years.

On August 24, 2001, Amber married Jacob Richard Loock in Roy, Utah. She enjoyed being with her family, ice fishing, camping, crafts, rock hounding, frog hunting, river tubing and hosting parties.

Amber is survived by her loving husband, Jake, their two beautiful daughters, Kennedy Marie Loock and Jadyn Lee Loock, all of Roy; her parents, Rebecca (Mike) Shipley, Layton; Richard and Myra Loock, Syracuse; grandmother, LaRue Loock; three brothers, Jason Loock, Syracuse; Clint (Lou) Loock, West Point; Bobby (Shae) Loock, Syracuse; two sisters, Jodie (Kerry) Hipwell, Roy; Stacie Metzler, Clearfield; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee “Duff” Wilcock, two aunts, Renee Wise, Cloann Werre, and her grandparents, Duff and Violet Wilcock, Rollo Kirk, Clo and Jack Daly, Leo Richard Loock and Gusman Domingo Maestas.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Monday, June 13, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
