AMY KATHRYN MARTIN

February 10, 1984 ~ July 25, 2021

On the 25 of July 2021, Amy Kathryn Martin, at the age of 37, passed away due to complications with COVID-19.

She was born 10 Feb 1984 at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, to loving parents: Stephen John Martin and Kathryn (Martin) Young. With her family, she moved around and had a lot of fun experiences. She finally settled in the Portland area of Oregon.

Amy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was called to teach the young children of the church, which she enjoyed immensely.

Amy loved the outdoors and traveling, especially camping and being in nature. She lived her life to the fullest. Amy was selfless and put others first, especially those she loved, and her six nephews and nieces were so spoiled by her.

She leaves behind: Kathryn and Thomas Young (Stepfather), four siblings: Dawna Rochelle Lauer (Jason), Stephen John Martin JR (Brittani), Joseph Edward Martin, and Sarah Ruth Ballard (Aaron), and stepbrother: Andrew Young; Lloyd M. and Dawna D. Thayne (Grandparents); she also has many aunts, uncles, and cousins that will miss her.   Preceded in death: Stephen John Martin (Father); Edward G. and Helen D. Martin (Grandparents).

Her family will miss her dearly in this life and mourn her passing until we meet again in the next life.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 S. 2000 W. Syracuse. Friends may visit family Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
