Amy Lee Siler

May 1, 1991 — October 15, 2024

North Salt Lake

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amy Lee Siler of North Salt Lake, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, on October 15, 2024, at the age of 33. Amy was born on May 1, 1991, and from the moment she arrived, she lit up the world with her radiant personality and infectious humor.

Amy had a special gift for making everyone around her feel loved and included. She had a magnetic presence, and her laughter was contagious. To know Amy was to love her, and she was a cherished friend to so many. Her bright spirit brought joy to everyone she met, and she never missed an opportunity to make those around her smile. From childhood, Amy would make a new friend wherever she went, and she continued to touch lives throughout her life.

Amy would fight for what she felt was right, and her compassion was evident in everything she did. Family was everything to her, and she adored her niece and nephew, always showering them with love and affection. She was deeply loved by her family and will be remembered for her boundless energy, her kindness, and her ability to light up every room she walked into.

Amy’s life was a beautiful light, and though her tie with us was too short, the memories of her humor, her love, and her fearless spirit will stay with us forever. If love could have saved her, it would have.

Amy attended schools in Layton and Kaysville. She worked at Smiths in Farmington for several years, and Holiday Oil in North Salt Lake.

She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Tracy (Platt) Siler; her sister Tia Siler-Alexander; brothers Cory Winesburg, Shawn Siler (Leanne Barton), and Jason Siler; her nephew Zurmyles Siler, and her niece Hannah Siler; also, her long-time boyfriend, David Simonsen.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elva Mae Siler, George and MaryRuth Platt, her aunt Karen, uncle Ray and aunt Judy Platt.

A celebration of Amy’s life will be held on November 10,2024 from 4-7 pm at the Bountiful Elks Lodge, 544 W. 400 N. Bountiful, Utah.
