Andrea Joy Dunn

Andrea Joy (Smith) Dunn, age 42, was unexpectedly taken away from her family and friends Sunday night at the Davis County Hospital despite all the efforts of the medical staff.  Annie was born on July 31, 1980, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Brad and Shelly Smith.  She graduated from Mountain High School in 1998 and Salt Lake Community College with an Associates in Art. She married Kevin Dunn on August 7, 2009.

Annie enjoyed music, art, camping, cooking, gardening, family and friends.  She loved being with her family, going camping, anything outdoors, boating, fishing, four wheeling and enjoying those moments with family.  She loved gardening, spending many hours outside tilling and cultivating her garden.  She always had the mentality of I can do it, and she was right, she could. She was strong, independent, loyal, kind, and loving. She was also very stubborn. But the most important thing to her was her family. 

She is survived by her husband Kevin, her children Elijah (Syndergaard), Tabitha, Kathryn, and Liam.  She is also survived by her parents Brad and Shelly, her brother Matthew and her sisters Dayna and Hollie.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the funeral service will be held at the Canyon Ward LDS chapel at 160 S 300 E, Centerville, Utah, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Friends may visit with family Friday, November 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services.

Interment, Will be held at the Clinton City Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.

Annie, your joy of life, your kindness to those around you, and your strength of character will be desperately missed. We love you Annie, may you find peace surrounded by those who love you.
