Andreas Konstantinos Bolos

January 15, 1936 ~ August 29, 2017

Andreas “Andy” Konstantinos Bolos was born in Nestani, Greece in 1936. He immigrated to the United States in 1951. Andreas served in the US Army and was deployed to Korea on a peacekeeping tour.

Andreas was a successful businessman all of his life. He was owner of Andy’s Club and he was an excellent cook.

He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and traveling. His sanctuary was his house in Bear Lake, creating memories with his family. He and his buddy, Ralph Blotter, spent many days planting flowers and gardening and enjoying the beauty of Bear Lake. He visited his beloved country, Greece, many times with his wife and children.

Andreas was a faithful member of the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church. He was a member of AHEPA, Masons, Shriners, Jester, Elks, and Eagles.

Andreas is survived by his wife, Nickie; two sons, Dino and fiancé Jammie of Roy, Utah, and Chris, New York; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his brother Lambros and his wife Angeliki; his sister, Toula Syrengelas (Athanasios) deceased; brother, Paraskevas and his wife Peggy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Konstantinos and Soteria.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration, 674 42nd St.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Trisagion Service at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 674 42nd St., Ogden UT 84403.
