Andrew Kobal

September 3, 1984 — March 12, 2018

Andrew J. Kobal beloved son and brother, born on September 3rd 1984 in Charleston, South Carolina. He grew up and lived in many states before the Kobal family settled down in Layton, Utah.

He joined the United States Air Force in 2002 and served 12 years in the electronic warfare repair field. During his time in the Air Force Andrew traveled to Korea, Japan, and New Zealand to mention a few. In 2014 Andrew left the Air Force and started attending college at the University of Utah in the electrical engineering program.

He played bass guitar, pool, loved golfing with his grandfather, took amazing photos and completed a half Ironman race which was his greatest personal accomplishment. He was the type of person that could argue with a rock, and win.

He is survived by his parents Chuck and Wendy Kobal, his brother Charles (Stacey) Kobal and his nephews Jack, Eli Welsh, and Hendrick Kobal.

He will be truly missed.

Friends may visit family Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Inurnment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, at 3 p.m.
