Anevay Zelda Glass, 20, of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away on May 22, 2024, in Salt Lake City, of natural causes. Born in Rexburg on March 16, 2004, Anevay was the beloved second daughter of James Glass and Stacie Lynn Blackmoon Bischoff Glass.
As a young child, Anevay faced Pleural Pulmonary Blastoma, requiring extensive cancer treatments and surgeries. Her resilience through these challenges exemplified her fighting spirit, and she emerged as a beacon of strength and determination. Her name, meaning "superior" "female warrior," was a perfect reflection of her indomitable spirit and inspiring presence within her family.
Anevay graduated from Madison High School in 2022. She has enough credits for an associate degree and was pursuing a major in Biomedical Science at BYU Idaho. A dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she balanced her academic and work commitments with grace. She managed a full course load, worked 20 hours a week as Head Team Lead Custodian for BYU-Idaho, and held a 24-hour-per-week position as a mail courier at Madison Health Hospital. Despite her busy schedule, she found time for the hobbies she loved: baking, drawing, crocheting, playing the cello, and enjoying K-Pop music, especially BTS, Stray Kids, Jungkook, and Ateez. Anevay loved spending time with her family and friends.
Anevay will be fondly remembered for her ever-present happiness and the special light she brought into the lives of those around her. Known for her humor and love of making others laugh, she was a source of joy and kindness, always ready to serve others with a generous heart. Intelligent and talented, Anevay excelled in everything she pursued, embodying hope, loyalty, and an extraordinary spirit. Above all, she was forgiving, never holding grudges, and always showing kindness and understanding.
We love you and miss you dearly, Anevay.
