Angie Valarie Archuleta

September 14, 1962 ~ July 31, 2014

Angie Valarie Archuleta, 51, passed away on July 31, 2014 in Ogden.  She was born on September 14, 1962 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Alcario and Julia Archuleta.  She grew up in Ogden, but lived in Florida and Kansas before settling in Ogden.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had some special Laurels.

Angie loved to camp and shop.  Her greatest joy was spending time with the love of her life, her grandson, Enzo or as Angie called him “Love Bug”.

Angie is survived by her son, Jose (Emily) Fernandez; grandson, Enzo; brothers, Larry (Ramona) Archuleta, Dale (Diane) Archuleta, and Steve Archuleta; sisters, Martha Martinez, Maxcine Archuleta, Grace Archuleta, Esther (Bobb) Prieto, Patsy Medina, and Tammy (David) Boyles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Raymond Archuleta; and two nephews, Burke and Brad Archuleta.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

We want to thank Debra Peterson, Bishop’s Storehouse, and the LDS Community for all the support provided to our family in this hard time.  The family would like to thank the medical professionals who cared for her, especially Dr. Scott Larsen, Dr. Cheda, and Dr. McDonald, and all of those at the dialysis center and The Ride.  The family would also like to thank her good friend, Kelly, and a special thanks to Nancy and Jackie, her best friends for her entire life.
