Anita “Betty” Cesario Garcia, our beloved mother, left this earth on October 31, 2022 to return home to our Heavenly Father and to be reunited with the love of her life, husband of 67 years and our dad, Abel Garcia, Sr. She went peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born on November 20, 1934, in Rifle, Colorado to Victoria Romero and Luciano Cesario.
She was so loved by everyone who knew her. She took pride in her flowers that she planted and nurtured every spring. She also loved animals and little children. Those were just some of the things that were important to her. Her most important priority, however, was her family that she adored, especially all her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her four children, AnaMarie Baker, Dolores (Dodie) Morales, Abel Garcia, Jr. and Tony (Wendy) Garcia. She had 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel; mother, Victoria Romero; father, Luciano Cesario; and 12 siblings.
On behalf of her family, we would like to thank Mt. Ogden Care Center and their staff for the professional care they provided to our mother.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, UT. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
