Anita Amelia Delgado

Anita Amelia Delgado 1957 - 2012 Anita Amelia Delgado, 54, passed away on June 12, 2012 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous fight against breast cancer. She was born December 13, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Bennie Delgado of Ogden, Utah and Frederick Delgado of Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. She grew up in Salt Lake City and attended West High School; she was educated and worked in the field as a CNA. Most importantly she was given an amazing gift of caring for children and tended to the special needs of her disabled son and daughter. Anita''s strength during this time was unbelievable in carrying through life with the love and dedication she gave to her children, especially her daughter Elizabeth and son David who will remain loved by all. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved and cherished. Her spirit of love, strength and patience was amazing. Anita always made time for others and cared for "ALL OUR" children. She will be sorely missed by all those that knew and loved her. Anita was a member of Gospel Tabernacle of Ogden. She loved "Our Lord Heavenly Father" and accepted the thought of "Going Home" to Heaven.

Till we meet again mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and Special Aunt Anita! Anita is survived by her sons Daniel (Jennifer) Delgado and David Armijo; and daughters, Jennifer (Joseph) Medina, Victoria Mendoza, Elizabeth Nevarez and Cindy Serio; sisters Stacie (Tee Rueda) Luna, Lorriane (Pablo) Delgado Rodriguez; brothers, Freddie (Cynthia) Delgado, Delores "Pebbles" Delgado and Michael (Sylvia) Delgado. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Cindy Susan Delgado and Patsy Marie Delgado.
