Ann G Balls

Ann Griffiths Balls 1951-2011

Surrounded by her family, Ann Balls passed away September 18, 2011 at the age of 59 in Bountiful, Utah of causes related to Cystic Fibrosis.

Ann was born November 7, 1951 to Daniel J. and Wilma Anderson Griffiths. She married David Kenneth Balls in the Logan LDS Temple on October 28, 1971. They were blessed with two wonderful sons Richard and Benjamin.

For many years she taught in the Primary and helped in the Nursery too. She was a devoted volunteer for the Deseret Cheese plant in Logan, helping with bookkeeping and other tasks. She enjoyed interacting with the Clarkston community where she worked for Munson''s Market, going far and beyond what was required of her. She was an extremely hard worker and taught her boys the same.

Ann devoted much of her time in a care giving capacity. She loved taking care of her beloved husband David and her two sons. She had an enormous tender heart that reached out to anyone and anything that lived. One could say she was Clarkston''s little Snow White. She had a deep love of all life and her home was filled with plants and animals of every kind, but her favorite were her kitty cats. We have no doubt that beyond the veil she will be surrounded with family and loved ones, but her little animal friends will be there too.

She is survived by her sons Richard and Benjamin; three sisters, two brothers, father-in-law Kenny and numerous extended family. Preceded in death by her husband David, her parents Daniel and Wilma; brother Gregory and mother-in-law Sarah.

We love you Ann and we will miss you! God be with you until we meet again!

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Clarkston City Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:45-12:45 pm prior to services at the Clarkston 2nd Ward, 25 E. 100 S.
