Ann Monica Dickson

Ann Monica Dickson, 77, passed peacefully into eternity on February 27, 2017 after a wonderful life full of special moments filled with family and friends. Her joyful spirit would fill a room, and her dedication to family was unmatched.  She was able to do what she loved most, help care for her smallest great-grandbabies, right to her last days.

Monica was born in Göthenburg, Sweden on October 9, 1939 to Kurt and Alice Swanfeldt.  In 1948, at the age of nine, her family boarded a ship and immigrated to America.

Monica met the love of her life, William Dickson, at the age of 16.  They were married four years later on February 14, 1959 in Sacramento, CA.  In January 1978, she and her family moved to Kaysville, UT.  In 1985, she accepted the LORD as her Savior, and has been a member of the Kaysville Bible Church ever since.

Monica was preceded in death by her husband, William Dickson in 2000; both parents, Kurt and Alice Swanfeldt; and both sisters, Loraine Gutteridge and Joyce Dalton.

Monica is survived by her two daughters, Sondra (Joe) Trillo and Pamela (Ray) Werner; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as four nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Bible Church, 181 N. Flint Street.  Friends may visit family Saturday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
