Ann Martinez Romero

Ann Romero LAYTON – Ann Romero was born on April 18, 1918 to Lita Garcia and Samuel P. Martinez and passed into the Lord’s arms on June 12, 2013. She was a faithful member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was a beautiful person inside as well as outside, a fabulous cook, great gardener, canning expert, fishing companion to Dad, and had a marvelous sense of humor. She was a great friend to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed, especially at family gatherings where she was always the special guest. She loved her family and we all loved her dearly. Ann is survived by seven children: sons Raymond, David, Robert, Ralph and Russell and daughters Laura and Beatrice; one brother, many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Ernie, son Richard, and daughter-in-law Suzan. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Chapel, St., Layton, UT. Friends may visit with family Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. with a rosary to follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd.
