Anna Elizabeth DeBeer

March 16, 1931 ~ June 19, 2018

Our loving wife, mother and oma, Anna DeBeer, 87, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2018 after an extended illness.

She was born on March 16, 1931 to Johannes and Josefien VanderStappen in Tilburg, The Netherlands. She married Peter DeBeer on July 27, 1957 in Tilburg.  They later immigrated to the United States and settled in Ogden, Utah in 1962.  They were blessed with one son and two daughters.

She will always be remembered for her kindness to the many children she provided care for. She loved to travel, taking the entire family on many trips. Through the years she never missed a game her grandchildren played.  She was one of a kind and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Jose.  Anna is survived by her loving husband Peter; her son, Roland DeBeer (Deborah); her daughter, Kathy Jachim (Mike); her grandchildren: Anna Marie DeBeer (Brad Wahlquist); Krystin and Robbie Jachim as well as grandchildren: Mat Jachim (Claire); Dustin Maxfield (Kami); Desirae Dyson (Travis); and eight great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East  5550 South,  South Ogden. Family and friends will gather at 10 am.  Interment will be announced at a later date.
