Anna Grace Gallegos

Anna G. Gallegos, 75, loving mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at McKay-Dee Hospital, surrounded by her children, family and friends.
Anita “Anna” Graciela Pena was born on September 7, 1940 to Maria Regina Espinoza and Jose Alfredo Pena in Vallecitos, New Mexico.
On October 19, 1957 she married the love of her life, Arthur B. Gallegos in Del Norte, Colorado.
Anna loved the Lord and enjoyed attending Mass and other Christian services where she could praise and worship her Father in Heaven.
She was a devoted mother; selfless, giving, and always sacrificing for others. Anna enjoyed her morning coffee and watching The Young and the Restless. She especially cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and family.
Surviving are her children, Gary (Anna), Jim (Yevette), Scott, Arthur Jr., Mona (Ruben), and LeeAnn Gallegos; two grandchildren she helped raise, Dezeray Balli and Adrianna Gallegos; 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Phil Pena and several brothers and sisters-in-law, whom she loved dearly.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Gallegos; son, Ricky Gallegos, and daughter, Regina Gallegos Herrera; her parents; three brothers, and two sisters.
We love you Mom. You’ll always be in our hearts.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden.
