Anna Joyce Hamilton

Anna Joyce Hamilton of Riverdale/Ogden passed away suddenly at home on December 14, 2024.Born on December 4 1972, in Ogden to Nancy Joyce Keener and Robert Bruce Hamilton at Saint Benedict's Hospital. The youngest of two children and remained in the Riverdale/Ogden area most of her life.

Anna never married in her lifetime but lived with her love Rick T Anderson. She was preceded in death by her dad Robert Bruce who passed away July 25, 2022. Her mother Nancy Joyce passed away July 26, 2022. She is survived by her aunt and uncle James and Christy Keener in Louisville Colorado. Avery (Keener) Econome in La Crescenta California. Robert James Hamilton's wife Dr. Michelle Amiot Hamilton. was also an aunt to three nieces and two nephews

She attended Club Heights Elementary School, T.H.Bell Jr High School and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1989. She then spent some time at Western Wyoming University and Weber State University.

She has worked many jobs over the years, but by far her favorite was the IRS she worked there for the last 24 years

As a child, Anna loved to travel with her family as part of the Wally Byum Caravan Club International attending rallies all over the western United States and Canada. and also really enjoyed traveling by train visiting friends in Indianapolis and Wichita, Kansas, and going to Rick Springfield concerts anywhere she could find them. Anna was also an avid football fan of her parents’ alma mater University of Wyoming and the Buffalo Bills. 

Anna is a deacon of the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden where she has been a long-time member of the English hand bell choir. 

There will be a memorial on December 28, 2024 (at her request) at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Ogden, 880 E. 28th St. The memorial will be followed by a social where everybody can share their stories about Anna.

I personally would like to give a special thanks to all the first responders and hospital workers who really did everything they could, and then some it seemed. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. I know you never get enough recognition for what you do.
