ROY – Anna Elouise Hartman 94, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at her home in Roy. She was born February 8, 1919 in Hooper, UT to James Isaac and Martha Adeline Schultz Fowers, the youngest of five children. Elouise married Roy Hartman in Evanston, WY. They were sealed in the Bountiful Temple. They raised their family of four in Roy, UT. Roy preceded her in death on February 1, 1993. Elouise was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of-Latter Day Saints. She was the first Primary President of the Lakeview ward and served in the primary for 25 years. Roy and Elouise were partners in the slaughterhouse and meat market business, “Roy Meat Wholesale”. Elouise worked hard all her life. She was active in the Elks. Elouise enjoyed fishing and traveling all over the country with her husband Roy. They loved dancing and Elouise enjoyed playing bridge for many years. She loved to tell stories about her life and her parents. She was honored in the Roy City parade as the oldest Roy resident in 2012. Elouise is survived by her children; Roger (Kay), Rudy (Diane), Rex (Susan), Randy (Vicky) and daughter-in-law Donna Hartman. Also surviving are six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and special nieces; Nada Lamb and Holly Lucero. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy, her parents and siblings; Lila, James, Valeda and Verna and one grandchild. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roy City Cemetery. Friends may visit with family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S., Roy.
