SYRACUSE a€" Anna Belle Lewis, 80, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010.

She was born October 22, 1929 in Thatcher, AZ the daughter of Freeman Moses and Mahala Antonette Davis Palmer.

Ann married Ves Lewis on August 11, 1961 in the Logan Temple.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and served a service mission at the Salt Lake LDS Conference Center. Ann was a volunteer for the Layton Police Department.

Surviving are her sons, Marc Lewis, Shawn Lewis, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, and siblings Cherril Jones, Darvol Palmer, Janell Reeve, David Palmer and Monte Palmer.

Preceded in death by her husband Ves Lewis, and siblings Lavon, Karl, Fremela, Jeffrey and Daniel Palmer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Walnut Grove LDS Chapel, 535 W. 2700 So., Syracuse. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
