Anna Patrick Wagner

1926 ~2010

Anna Patrick Wagner passed away peacefully while in Rock Springs, Wyoming surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, January 9, 2010.

She was born September 10, 1926, in Maysville, Pennsylvania to Anna Krim and John Patrick. She had six siblings Michael, John, Mary, Steven, Frank, and Olga who have passed away.

She met and married Thomas Frank Wagner on July 16, 1950 they were together for 55 wonderful years. They waited and hoped for a child for eleven years until they were blessed with their only Child, Ann (Dolly).

She loved to cook, clean, garden beautiful flowers, and take care of everyone, including Lily, her baby dog and Shortie, her beloved grand dog. She was like the energizer bunny, small and never stopping, able to work circles around anyone. She was an exemplary mother and grandmother. She held everyone she loved to a high standard and expected growth from those she cared about. She had a sharp mind and could engage in conversation that might have started months or even years earlier. She was interested in politics and a firm advocate of the democratic process and felt that people should be held accountable for their actions, both those in politics and in all walks of life.

She enjoyed working for Rocky Mountain Care Center for nearly 20 years. She made many friends while there from those she worked with and the patients she so dearly loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann, and husband, Rusty Bayles, and her beloved grandsons, Nathan, Justin and Drew, and her dogs Lily and Shortie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom and all her siblings.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
