Anne M. Fisher
OGDEN – Anne Marie Fisher, 81, died Friday, January 9, 2009.
She was born April 23, 1927 in St. Martin de Fresnay, Calvados, Normandy, France, a daughter of Raoul Laurent and Francine Marguerite Loron Gratet.
Anne married Roger Van Fisher on July 21, 1960 in San Francisco, California. Roger preceded her in death.
She worked for the United Nations, Texaco, several travel agencies, in sales, teaching and self proprietorship.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Anne enjoyed sewing, crocheting, serving on the Catholic Women’s Council at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, senior trips to Wendover, and traveling.
Surviving are one son and one daughter, Steve (Virginia) Fisher, Georgiana (Russell) Barton, and five grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary, Matthew, Melissa and Andrew.
Also surviving are her nieces, Dorothy Levy, Huahine, Tahiti; Linda Sandino, London, England; and her nephew, Claude Lubin, Encinitas, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her sisters, Genevieve Sandino and Jeanine Louise Lubin.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 – 24th Street.
Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
