Annette Checketts Kerbs
July 19, 1949 ~ February 15, 2020
Our beautiful and loving Mother, Annette Checketts Kerbs, passed away on February 15, 2020. She went peacefully in her sleep. She was born on July 19, 1949 in Ogden, UT to Ralph Checketts and Violet Nicholls.
She married Wayne Cook at a young age and had three amazing children together, they later divorced. She then married Doyle Kerbs and had two more amazing children together, they later divorced.
Annette worked at the IRS for nearly 30 years, where she met long-lasting friends and loved her IRS bowling group. One thing that is certain, is that she loved and lived for her children. She always put her children first. She LOVED the outdoors! She especially loved going to the sand dunes, camping, going on drives through the mountains, visiting Malad and Island Park in Idaho, exploring on the many trips she went on, and any other adventures her kids invited her on. She loved Elvis and had quite the Elvis collection and whenever we see a pink flamingo, we will always think of her.
Annette is survived by her children, Shane Cook (Brandon Eiber), Wendi (Tony) Purdum, Anjanette (Darrell) Reese, Kenneth (Melanie) Kerbs, and Shauna (Kyle) Greer; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, JoAnn Schow. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, two sisters, Julie Checketts and Diann Joos, and one brother, Dennis Checketts.
