LAYTON – Anthony Theodore Leon, 57, passed away May 19, 2019 in a tragic accident.
He was born August 15, 1961 the son of Adolfo Leon Jr. and Lupita Gurule Leon. Anthony attended Layton High School and resided in Layton, Clearfield and Ogden throughout his life.
Anthony loved working as a mason.
Anthony married Delia Mata.
He loved music, dancing, hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. He also loved being around people and was the life of the party. Anthony treated his children’s friends like they were his own.
Surviving are his wife, Delia Leon, Denver, CO; sons, Patrick Leon, Layton; Phillip Leon, Layton; daughter, Antoinette Leon, Phoenix, AZ; step-son, Tony Mata, step-daughters, Tasian Beckstead, Sammy Beckstead, mother, Lupita Leon, Layton; brother, Eugene (Teisha) Leon, Layton; sister, Theresa (Richard) Bodle, Layton; and several grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his father, Adolfo Leon Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
