Anthony “Tony” Vanderstappen

Anthony “Tony” Vanderstappen, 78 years old, passed away on January 8, 2014.  Tony was born on October 7, 1935 in Tilburg, The Netherlands.  In 1959 he came to America together with members of his family.

Tony worked most of his life in the steel fabrication business, including for his brother at Gos’s Welding, where he retired after 12 years.

Tony is survived by his brother, Gos Vanderstappen; sister, Anna DeBeer; and longtime friend, Cristina, all of the Ogden area.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven, with a luncheon to follow.

Interment will be held at Ogden City Cemetery at a later date.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
