April Elaine Scott

April 16, 1961 ~ December 17, 2015

April Elaine Scott passed away on December 17, 2015. She was born in Warsaw, Kentucky on April 16, 1961.

She met and fell in love with Paul M. Scott and thery were married on November 26, 1997. They were together for 13 years. Paul passed away on January 10, 2011 in Pueblo, Colorado. She stayed there for three years after his death. April moved back to Ogden, Utah in November of 2013.

Everywhere April went she made friends. She had a sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke with people! She had many interests, and she loved meeting new friends on Facebook.

April's family is grateful to all the people who loved her and stood by her after her husband, the love of her life, passed away.

April is survived by her sister, Debbie Nielsen; four nephews, Brian Moss, Brandon Moss, Jarrod Moss, and Tyler Moss; two nieces, Amber Edwards, and Ashlee Rasmussen; and 13 great-nephews-and-nieces.

We pray that she has found the peace and love she was missing and that she is with her husband Paul and her mother Ora.

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below

With the tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow

The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear

For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear

But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,

For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me. I see the pain inside your heart

But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.

So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear.

And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
