Aquilino Cruz Antonio
CLEARFIELD – Aquilino Cruz Antonio, 70, passed away March 11, 2019 at his home.
He was born June 13, 1948 the son of Angeles and Macaria Cruz Antonio in Manila, Philippines and was the eldest son amongst 11 children.
Aquilino married Celia Santiago in the Philippines in 1978.
Surviving are his wife Celia and son Alastair.
He came to the United States in 1980 and settled in Santa Ana, California where he worked for the Superior Court of Orange County. In 2008 he retired to Utah where he loved gardening, working on DIY projects, and sharing his harvests and freshly grilled foods with neighbors and family.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Chapel Street, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
