Ariel L Williams Jr.

Ariel L. Williams Jr. passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois January 24, 1929 to Ariel L Williams Sr. and Louise Joane DeYoung Williams.

He grew up in Chicago after which he attended Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission in the Amsterdam Holland Mission for 2 ½ years.  After graduation and internship he joined the U.S. Air Force.  While in medical school he married Helen Grove. They are the parents of three sons and two daughters, Ariel Todd, David, Wendy, John and Karen and grandparents of 21.

He spent his later years in Fruit Heights, serving at the Hill Aerospace Museum at Hill AFB and engaged in Dutch family history.      

Survived by his wife, five children and 21 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Fruit Heights Stake Center, 170 South Mountain Road.  Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment,  Kaysville City Cemetery.
