Arland Hammon
KAYSVILLE – Arland Hammon, 81, passed away November 10, 2007 at Rocky Mountain Care in Clearfield. He was born in Clearfield, UT on February 10, 1926 to Wallace and Delores Merrie Hammon.
Arland married Donna Beverly Warren January 5, 1945 in Kaysville, UT. He was a graduate of Davis High School. Arland was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3rd Ward in Kaysville.
Arland lived in Clearfield for 25 years and Kaysville for 56 years. He entered the U.S. Navy November 3, 1943 and served during WWII.
Arland owned Hammon Cabinet and Fixture for 45 years. He loved taking pictures and woodworking; he was a member of the Photographic Society of America. He loved all his kids and grandchildren very much. He and mom had a wonderful life together and did everything together.
Survived by his wife Donna; sons, Dean Arland Hammon, Hal Richard Hammon; daughters, Walline Foster, Donna Merrie Snyder; brother, Derlin Hammon; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday November 16, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 at the mortuary.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
