Arlen LaRue Fehlman
Layton a" Loving husband and father Arlen LaRue Fehlman, 75, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007.
He was born on August 6, 1932 in Brigham City the son of Fredrick Gustave and Thelma Naomi Walters Fehlman.
Arlen served three years in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Arlen married Alta Marie Chard on December 13, 1952 in Malheur County, Oregon.
He was a member of the LDS Church and had spent the last years of his life serving in the Ogden LDS Temple.
Arlen enjoyed spending time with his wife and family.
Surviving are his wife Alta, two sons Douglas (Valarie) Fehlman, Layton; Rod (Peggy) Fehlman, Mesa, AZ; two daughters Judy (Jeff) Siebrandt, TX; Jeri (Scott) Lloyd, North Salt Lake; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers Ronald Fehlman, Glenn (Barbara) Fehlman, Melvin (Ruth) Fehlman, three sisters Dolores (Reed) Ray, Donna Wilson and Sherry (Gordan) Leavitt.
Preceded in death by his brother Arden and great-granddaughter Angel.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 14, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Country Oaks Ward, 1360 E. Cherry Lane, Layton, Utah.
Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah.
Cremation under the direction of Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS Hospital Cardiac Unit, 8th Ave & C Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84143.
