Arlene Jensen
FARR WEST – Eva Arlene Caroline Slade Jensen, 80, died Monday, September 1, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital.
She was born February 8, 1928 in Pioche, Nevada, a daughter of Benjamin Franklin Slade and Lillie Maude Jones Slade.
In August of 1944, Arlene married John Jensen in Brigham City. They were later divorced.
She lived in Pioche, Nevada, American Fork, Central, St. George, Brigham City, Ogden, Sunset and Farr West, Utah, and in Susanville, California.
Arlene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked in the restaurant industry for many years.
Arlene was a member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and collecting things.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, John Frank (Kathy) Jensen, Thatcher, UT; Brian Lee (Linda) Jensen, Port St. John, FL; Jolene (Robert) Norman, Twin Falls, ID; Cindy (Mike) Barnes, Syracuse, UT; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, James and Clark Slade.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Phillip and one sister, Lou.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Central, Utah City Cemetery.
