Arlene S. Yamane

Arlene passed away peacefully at her home January 26, 2023. Arlene S. Yamane Born in Inglewood California May 04, 1928 to Kango Matsuguma and Sumi Inamura Matsuguma. She graduated from Davis High class of 1947 and married Sammy Yamane Sr March 29, 1951.

Arlene enjoyed most of her life working on the farm with her husband and kids. She looked forward to her trips to Wendover, going at any chance she could get.

Arlene is survived by her children Wendy (Compton (Deceased), Sharon (Robert), Sam Jr (Rhonda), Byron (Amy) and Nina. She has 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers, sister,  son-in-law  and a grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday January, 31,2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Monday January 30,2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Lindquist Mortuary in Layton.
