Arline Groves

Arline Catmull Groves

Arline Catmull Groves was 90 years old. Born August 29, 1931 in Salt Lake City Utah, to Lester Verland Catmull Sr. and Ada Willcock Ingleby Catmull. She had one brother Lester Verland Catmull.

She attended and graduated from West High school. On May 5, 1951. She married the love of her life Teddy Weldon Groves. They were married for 65 years. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple.

She worked at Clover Club and Joes Green House. She went to Cosmetology School and graduated in which she started a business in her home. Mostly, she took loving care of her family.

She is survived by her loving four children. Sharon Anderson, Layton, Utah, Jan Holliday (Scott), Yuma, Arizona, Gary Weldon Groves (deceased), Kevin Groves (Michelle), Layton, Utah. 10 grand kids, 13 great grandkids who brought her much joy and love.

She loved to fish, hunt camp, canning, working in the temple, gardening, sharing her garden with neighbors and anything to be with her family and husband.

She passed on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in  the early morning hours from a cerebral Brain Bleed.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit with family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside services at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
