Arthur Edward Cordova

July 14, 1925 ~ January 27, 2015

Arthur Edward Cordova, 89, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Davis Hospital.

He was born July 14, 1925 in Pueblo, Colorado, a son of Julian Antonio and Lusia Vallejos Cordova.

On July 12, 1944, Arthur married Theresa Strohm in Raton, New Mexico. They are the parents of ten children.

He worked for and retired from Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic.

Arthur enjoyed laughing, telling stories, visiting with people, playing his guitar and singing his Spanish songs. In his younger years, he loved to hunt, fish and go camping. He always cherished his sons and daughters being with him. He loved to play Rummy with family and friends right up until the day he died; and he was very good at it.

He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren of which there are many. Our Dad deeply loved his wife and companion of 70 years. He also had a profound love and appreciation for his God Jehovah.

If we could sum up the things he enjoyed, it would be to say, he enjoyed life to the fullest and to the end.

He is greatly loved and will be missed immensely.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Theresa; their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3rd at the Clinton City Cemetery, 750 West 800 North.

Please send flowers and gratuities to Theresa at 1962 W. 1520 N. Clinton, 84015.
