Arva Rae Summers Wardell
MORGAN a" Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend Arva Rae Summers Wardell, 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Family Tree Assisted Living Center in Morgan, UT. Arva was born on July 22, 1934 in Tremonton, Utah to Maynard and Laveen Childs Summers.
Arva grew up in Bothwell, UT and graduated from Bear River High School in 1952. After high school, she started working at the local show house where she met her husband.
She married Gale Owen Wardell on September 3, 1952 in Elko, NV. They were later divorced. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a primary teacher.
Arva retired from Browning Arms after 20 years of service where she met a group of lifelong friends. She spent many countless hours helping out on the Wardell Fur Farm.
She enjoyed her many trips to Wendover, loved to fabric paint, oil paint in her earlier years, picnics up at the Wardell campground and just being around her family and friends.
We will miss her dearly as well as her spunky personality.
