Audrey Chadwick

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother returned home to her Heavenly Father on December 23, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home. She was born on November 1, 1926 in Kaysville, UT and grew up in Kaysville and Layton, UT.

Audrey married LaMont Chadwick on December 13, 1946 and had two children: Gary Lamont Chadwick and Lisa Chadwick Cloyd. Nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren kept her busy. She was happily engaged in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many capacities and leadership roles. She especially enjoyed being Stake Young Women’s leader and Sports director, playing softball, basketball, volleyball and even City Sports as a participant.

Audrey is survived by her son Gary Lamont Chadwick and daughter, Lisa Chadwick Cloyd; three brothers: Dean L. Foxley (Joy), Robert (Bob) Foxley (Sandra), Allan L. Foxley (Lorraine) and sister, Colleen Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo H. Foxley, Artell Love Foxley and her youngest brother William Lynn Foxley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Adamswood LDS Chapel, 1589 E. Gentile St., Layton, UT. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., and Tuesday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
