Mom dedicated her life to service of others.  She gave shelter to the homeless; she fostered children who needed a home with structure and full of love.  She was a high school councilor for students who needed her help getting through school, from just needing help with classes, school work, or the occasional need for a friendly shoulder to cry on.

She was a social worker for the mentally disabled for a great many years, at the same time, volunteering her time off to the non-profit organizations.  And through it all, she was a loving wife to her husband, of 49 years, a wonderful mother to five children and multiple foster children.  A caring sister to all of her siblings, an unforgettable grandmother to 39 grandchildren and great grandmother to 17 great grandchildren, an amazing aunty to a great many nieces and nephews, a cousin, a mentor and a friend to many.  She was loved by many.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main St., Kaysville, Utah.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
