B. Maurice Smith
A spring storm has carried a gentle soul home for a sweet reunion with many loved ones. B. Maurice Smith was released from his pain on March 5, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.
Joyfully born to Driver Edwin Smith and Vella Billings on January 19, 1927 in Vernal, Utah. Maurice served in the Navy and then attended BYU where he met the bride of his youth Delma Parker. After graduating from the U of U Maurice taught German at Olympus High and later taught at Bonneville Jr. High School. He retired from teaching and became a carrier for USPS.
Delma prematurely left this mortal realm in 1974. Two years later the flame of eternal love was ignited once more when he met Alma Stokes. They married in November of 1976, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
