Bailey Rupe

On the morning of July 28th, our world became a little darker when we lost our Bailey. She was taken tragically in a car accident.

Bailey Lynne Rupe was born on May 23, 1998 to Michelle Barber and Quinn Rupe. She attended schools in Layton and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As a little girl she was so loving with everyone. She would run out and greet visitors with a big hug, and darling smile, bringing joy and happiness to those around her. With bouncing curly hair, she would brighten everyone's day. Bailey was a free spirit and radiated happiness to those around her. She had many friends and enjoyed car rides, hanging out and shopping with them. She was gifted in music. She had a beautiful voice and worked hard to learn to play the piano. She was good at sports and helped the Young Women in her ward win in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. She loved nature. She had great times at Bear Lake with her family. She especially enjoyed sunrises and sunsets.

Bailey loved her little sister, Kambree, and her mom. They loved shopping and going out to dinner together. Her mom has special memories of late nights watching movies, giggling and being silly.

Bailey is survived by her parents, Michelle Barber and Quinn and Autumn Rupe; little sister, Kambree; grandparents JoyLynne and Russ Markos, Kevin and Wendy Barber, and Jack and Patrice Rupe; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Special survivors are great grandparents Jim and Judy Morgan who have given her love, and support throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the chapel located at 2680 E. Cherry Lane, Layton, UT. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. and Thursday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment,

Soar high, Bailey. You are loved and will be missed by so many!
