Bambi Lynn Hamblin Herrera

May 16, 1962 ~ October 2, 2014

Bambi Lynn Hamblin Herrera passed away unexpectedly due to an illness on Thursday, October 2, 2014.  Bambi was born to Raymond and Carole Fordyce Hamblin on May 16, 1962 in Ogden, Utah.  She attended Ben Lomond High School and was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church.

On October 10, 1980 she married her high school sweetheart Eddie Herrera in Roy, Utah.  After 24 years of marriage she was blessed with her baby girl, Zoey Sierra.  Bambi loved reading, trivia games, and always had a tune on her lips, but her most cherished moments were those with her daughter Zoey.

Bambi is survived by her husband Eddie, daughter Zoey, mother Carole, sister Misty (Alfredo) Trejo, mother-in-law Frances Herrera, her special nieces and nephews Bailey, Destiny, and Daniel Trejo, and Skyler Hamblin, sisters-in-law Marie (Mike) Neri, Anna (Richard) Whitlock, Sally (Jimmy) Aguilar, brothers-in-law Joseph Herrera, Art (Linda) Herrera, and many nieces and nephews.

Bambi was preceded in death by her father Raymond Hamblin, special aunt Sonny Hamblin and sister-in-law Josie Edwards.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24 th St., Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
