I, Barbara, passed away from causes incident to age on July 26, 2013 while my children were prying my car keys from my cold dead hands!

Barbara was born on December 31, 1925, the fourth child of five born to Arthur and Hazel Marriott. She attended schools in Weber School District, graduating from Weber High School. She excelled in school and was awarded a membership in the National "I Dare You" Honor Roll. She loved tap dancing and water skiing, She was student body president in junior high school.

Barbara married Ray K. Hadley and together they had two children. He passed away at an early age. She later married Floyd P. Anderson and extended her family by three. He passed away after 31 years of marriage.

She was employed at Defense Depot Ogden as a personnel management specialist. After retirement, she enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling. She traveled to places such as Russia, Korea, Europe, Mexico, Panama, and throughout the United States. She and Floyd spent many enjoyable winters in Arizona. She was an avid reader, a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Fidelis Literary Club, and a charter member of the PC Ladies Club since 1945. At the time of her death, she was a reading tutor at Majestic Elementary School.

Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. She served a Church Service Mission and in other positions as called upon. She played the organ in the Ogden Temple for four years.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Dareth) Anderson, Cheryl (William) English, Denise (Dar) LeFevre, Scott (Shelia) Hadley; brother, Don W. Marriott; 20 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, two sisters, one brother, a step-son, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant View 18th Ward chapel, 900 West Pleasant View Drive. Family will meet with friends on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
